CVCA Press Release

WU Xiaoling communicated with CVCA representatives on the newly passed Securities Investment Fund Law

On 30 December 2012, Ms. WU Xiaoling, Vice Chairman of the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC), communicated with around ten representatives from CVCA member firms on the newly passed Securities Investment Fund Law.

The Securities Investment Fund Law (Amendment) was approved by the Thirtieth Meeting of the Eleventh NPC Standing Committee on 28 December 2012 and will come into effect on 1 June 2013. Ms. WU communicated with CVCA representatives on the key changes to the new law, the main reasons why VC and PE are not included, as well as the propose.

CVCA held Annual General Meeting 2012 in Beijing on December 7

CVCA Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2012 was held in Beijing on December 7. Around 200 senior professionals from member companies attended the event. The chairmanship handover ceremony was held at the AGM.

LP/GP Roundtable

CVCA hosted an LP/GP roundtable and dinner in Beijing on December 6, 2012. At the roundtable meeting, CVCA governors communicated with senior professionals from more than 20 international and domestic LPs.
