Duane KUANG
Duane is a Founding Managing Partner of Qiming Venture Partners. He has
close to 30 years of operational and investment experience and started
his venture capital career since 1999. Prior to founding Qiming, Duane
was the Director of Intel Capital China where he led the strategic
investment activities of Intel, and spent over 5 years at Cisco Systems
in China, holding various senior management positions. He started his
career in Silicon Valley as a software engineer and later an
engineering manager in the data communications industry. His
investments include ChinaCache (NASDAQ: CCIH), Cootek, DocIn, Qiniu,
Yunzhisheng, Xiaoyi, Intelligent Automation, Face++ and UBTech. He is
a governor of the China Venture Capital Association and a member of
the VC committee of AMAC.
Duane was born in China and educated in America. He holds an MBA degree from the University of California at Berkeley, a Master's degree in Computer Science from Stanford University and a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science from San Francisco State University.
